Here is my dedication to Cypher...

To begin with, actually I am a Cypher-nobody. But that is also the most important reason why I am in Cypher, in fact, the reason why I am soooo into Cypher. I have been a Cypher-ians for maybe 1 or 2 years, I am not in any post to be exact, but in Cypher, even when you are nobody, they make you feel like somebody. Let’s just call it the Cypherond -->(Cypher Bond). How did all this come about? Let me briefly brief you through the very first time I get to know Cypher.
I remember being a normal Cypher camper when I was in Year 1. I was once again a nobody amongst the hundreds of campers. But the Cypher Committee back then, which I briefly remember consist of great seniors like Tricia (MY MENTOR); Nicolas; Samantha; Jane and more, being there to move the camp, being a Cypher Committee to make every campers feel extraordinary and to enjoy the “moment”. The “first touch” Cypher gave me, it impress me to join them and carry on this tradition of Cypherond. In fact, I believe, it touches everyone, but only those who are able to commit will come along this team.
With large demands of people wanting to be part of Cypher, Cypher never turns anyone down. However, due to school regulation that a Club have to adhere to, we can only take in 20 main committee at caps, that is partly why there came about the sub-committee. Maybe in other places, being in the “sub” makes you look like the “extras”, the “SKW”. But in Cypher, being in the subs never means anything less, and being in the main doesn’t make you anything more superior. That is what I believe Cypher is into, as long as you are interested, you are always free to be part of us.
And that is also explains why being students who we always do last minute work, we still never fail events as long as we are Cypher. Because the Cypherond is there, when we need help, even if it is during late hours, we are able to rally people to our side and stand by us.
And these whole Cypherond stuff just keeps snowballing. Shifting from one event to the other, infecting one batch of Cypher to the other. And those Cypheronds we speak of, always never fail to lighten down during the Annual Cypher Camp tradition!
Now that I am an alumni, I can still feel the Cypheronds within, it never leaves you once it stings, it just stays there. And every yeas, as more freshmen come aboard Cypher, another batch leaves with it as Alumni. Looking back as a senior, I will always remember those days I had with Team Cypher. All the best in spreading the Cypheronds and just let me know anytime I can help!
